Yeah! i’ve had lots of fun designing that one, organising the event as much as I could and specially sharing something like that with friends, the best part, drinks assured!

Magazine

And the last for today it’s the project i’m doing for the Tourist office of the region of Martigny. This project is still on the pan but the cover has been already approved so I will post the whole thing in some time. I really love that project, is getting a very nice identity and very important, the way it’s being produced, because it’s would be normally kind of hard to get all the opinions of the different offices together, but the way they have liked that project from the first time and the freedom they are giving us is cool man.

Next project: work out he logo of the Radical liberal party, but just for the department in Martigny, so we took the original logo, following their guide lines and gave it a touch of the city.

Here I am back to my now and then blog that i would like to update more often but i am really not the kind of person that can materialise in a shape of a post all the interesting thoughts I have during the day, maybe I don’t have enough, maybe I don’t have the time…cause since we came to switzerland I have been hurring to get my life together the same way it used to be, work on design and have my personal projects, but it has become harder now that I work 5 days on 7, I had to get legal in Switzerland, find an apartment, job, get to know the city, deal with the good and bad things I still carry from belgium cause it’s not like you leave from a country, you erase the post and you create a new one; of course I would do it with all the heavy stuff like administration, taxes and blablabla but not with my nice friends, good partners and great projects still leaving there, thank u internet!

So getting back to the purpose of that post, here it comes a poster I have worked out at my new company, for a party that is celebrated in Martigny. The idea is pretty much a drunk music lover cause that’s what the party is about, music and beer, hope you enjoy taking some time to find all the elements that makes the design. I have made the logos in very bad resolution for not making advertising.

Rocklette

The Rocklette: there’s only one way to get best raclette cheese made. Now that I’m in Switzerland I have realised and the secret is that magic cows the have here, the biggest I ever seen, they drive like a rocket shaking the milk and spreading it arround by their propulsions tits, compressed air makes the rest and planet rocklette is here, ready to be eatten. New in Town

Well well, it’s not the first time and i guess is not gonna be the last one that I move. This tima it’s both of us, me and my boyfriend so it’s not the same but always exciting, easier to establish yourself with 2 or at least “emotionally” easier. The destiny has been Switzerland so far (so i’m half closer to my hometown now!) and the expectation are to stay for 1 year; time will say…

And right now this looks to get started, we found apartment (never thought it would be so difficult and elitist) and I also found job! i’m really glad and the studio looks good, a small place with big expectations, a will for creativity and hopefully a good ambiance; so i’m expecting to set myself and work my ass off!

Uoiba! vitrine

You are all invited to visit my new expo in Brugge, it is a vitrine in Hoogstraat 31 in Brugge, Belgium. I was selected by Quartier Bricole as artist to present my work, and so they gave my a great vitrine in the shopping street. It´s really looking great, so I´m glad. By now I haven´t had any response but I hope you like it. Enjoy!

duck eats bad popcorn

as if I was talking about a headline from the newspaper here we we have ducky duck, who has suffered certain modifications after eatting bad popcorn, he wasn’t supposed to eat it but he was starving and right after his digestion some horns started to grow on his head, they turned in to brunches and a tree of popcorn came to born over his head. Now this stubborn duck gonna have to stand some shame. You can probably see him one of these days in the cinema having to serve popcorn in the bar. Good luck ducky duck!

Some months ago I designed the cover for a magazine in belgium. I wanted to illustrate a dream of a woman that missed his hunsband, a treasure hunter, she is suffering because the love she had if gonne and now she just have a portrait of him that is disappearing by the years, somehing that kind of happens to all of us, even though some feeling will never leave, they loose tha biggest part of it’s sense, and they can stay as a big cloud in our mind or a small detail sticked in our heart.
